On March 6, 2019, Housing Works announced the participating interior designers and brands for its annual benefit, Design on a Dime held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City from April 25-27. Now in its 15th year, Design on a Dime brings together the nation’s top interior designers for this one-of-a-kind benefit to support Housing Works’ lifesaving health services, housing and social justice advocacy for New Yorkers.
Designers create unique, jaw-dropping vignettes utilizing over $2 million of new furniture, art and home décor merchandise donated from top brands, artists, and makers which is sold at the end of the event for up to 80% off retail to savvy and stylish attendees.

Design on a Dime kicks off with a ticketed Opening Night Reception on April 25 including a VIP Preview Hour at 5:30pm prior to General Admission at 6:30pm when the sale will begin. In attendance will be renowned designer, James Huniford, who founded Design on a Dime in 2004. Following Opening Night there will be two public sale days with free admission for the public on April 26 from 10am-7pm and April 27 from 10am – 5pm.
